Whenever people finds out that I do exercise, one thing that I always get is "But you're already skinny!!" I know I'm skinny but that doesn't mean that there's no need for me to exercise. Exercising is not just for losing weight, there's a lot of things that it actually does. And besides, there's always been a big difference between being skinny and being fit. I, of course, wanted to be fit and not just skinny; hence, the exercise.

My main reason for exercising is so that I could look more fit and become more fit. My main goal in my exercising program is to get toned, and in this entry I'm going to tell you what my program is all about.

I actually got my Get Toned Program on my Nike Training Club app. It's actually an app that serves as your guide on different workouts. It can also serve as your personal trainer since there are different choices of different programs depending on what your ultimate goal is. The Get Toned Program lasts for 4 weeks wherein you can choose which level you would like to be at. I have been using this program for a while already and so I chose the Intermediate level. But of course, there's always the Beginner level where you have 3+ workouts a week and the Advanced level where you have 6+ workouts a week. For the Intermediate level though, you only have 4+ workouts a week. The workout schedule is shown above! The schedule actually depends upon you since you can start anytime of the week!

Aside from being able to choose which program and which level you're going to take, you can also customize some workouts. Here, you get to choose from usually two choices on which workout you prefer. Aside from that, you can also choose to add running as part of your workout schedule if you have the Nike Running app. When you choose to add running in your program, the app would also dictate on the number of miles or the duration of your run on a particular day.

Other programs in the app include getting lean and getting stronger. There's also the choice of getting focused wherein there are different workouts to choose from which works on specific areas of your body. I honestly feel really amazed with this app since it lessens your need to go to the gym (especially if you have the basic equipment) since it seems like this app has everything that you need for you! Although of course, having a personal trainer is still different since they're much knowledgeable on the programs that you actually need and on the things that you actually need to do in order for you to achieve your goal.

If you have this app, then there's no more excuse left for you to not try to be fit. You can actually start getting fit without having to leave your home! For a free app, it's very informative and useful. Thanks a lot, Nike haha! Anyway, in case you're thinking of starting to get fit, I've come up with some of my tips that I found really useful in my journey to fitness. Those are just basic tips but may somehow be taken for granted by some people so here I am reminding you of those haha!
